INTERNATIONAL TEAMS TOURNAMENT 2009

MONTE CARLO 9-10 & 11 october 2009 SPORTING d’ETE

Open Teams : Euro 250 € - Junior Teams (all players of the team born after January 1 1984) : FREE

FRIDAY 9 : Qualifications (15.30 or 21.00) -> YOU CHOOSE !!!!

Qualifications Teams may play, at their choice, the afternoon OR the evening session.

Formula Swiss, 4 rounds of 8 boards (same formula afternoon & evening).

Depending on their ranking, teams should be divided in 2 Groups for the next phase : around 40% to the Tournament A and 60% to the Tournament B).

SATURDAY 10 : Intermediate Phase (14.30) Formula Swiss, 4 rounds of 8 boards : teams keep all VP won during the Phase of Qualification.

8 teams qualified for the Finals, on Sunday (7 from A & 1 from B, or 6 from A & 2 from B). The other teams play the Classification Groups, on Sunday.

SUNDAY 11 : Final Phase (11.00) Play-off (Quarter of finals, semi-finals & Final - 16 or 20 boards - KO)

SUNDAY 11 : Classification Groups (14.00) Teams will be divided into Groups of 4, based on their classification at the end of the Intermediate Phase. Each one plays against the three other ones, 3 rounds of 10 boards. At least one prize per group.

Prize for each of the 8 teams of the Final Phase & for the first (or two first) of each Classification Group Cocktail and Prize Giving : Sunday 11, at 18.30
